We are excited to announce two new features.
- Bulk Operations for Risks and Issues now allow users to manage multiple records at once, streamlining workflows and saving time. This functionality is available both in the Risks & Issues log and in the Risks and Issues tab within Projects.
- The new Due Date Notifications feature helps users stay ahead of important contract deadlines by enabling reminders up to 31 days in advance. Users can choose to receive daily or weekly notifications, delivered via both in-Platform alerts and email, ensuring they never miss a critical due date.
Introducing bulk risks and issues management
- A new checkbox column has been added to both the Risks & Issues Log and the Risks and Issues tab within the Projects. This column is positioned as the first column in these logs and cannot be repositioned or hidden using the View or column sequencing functionality.
- Users have the option to select individual risks and issues or select all risks & issues on any page by checking the box in the column header.
- This functionality works similarly to the bulk operations feature in tasks:
- Current Page' selects all records on the page you are viewing.
- All Pages' selects all records that match the current filters across all pages, excluding Closed records.
-
'Clear Selection' removes all current selections.
- Once one or more risks or issues are selected, a new button labelled Manage Risks & Issues appears.
-
Clicking on the Manage Risks & Issues presents a dropdown with the following options:
-
On clicking Manage, users have the ability to:
- Overwrite the existing Owner
- Add new Member(s)
- Move the selected risks and/or issues to a specific Project Group or Project
- Add a Category and Subcategory
- Overwrite the existing Status
- Overwrite the existing Control
- Overwrite the existing Impact and Likelihood
-
Overwrite the Next Review Date
-
After selecting the operation, the Save button becomes active. Clicking Save implements the changes and triggers a toaster message that reads: The selected items have been updated.
- If the users selected as Owners or Members do not have the required permissions, a permission popup will appear, explaining the issue.
- When performing bulk operations to move risks or issues that contain tasks to a specific project, the currency field for all tasks must be identical. If there is a mismatch in currencies (e.g., between tasks or projects), the Project field will display a red alert with the message: Project currency must match task currencies for successful save.
-
Upon clicking Duplicate, a confirmation popup will appear, giving the user the option to either Cancel or Duplicate. The popup will also inform users about the data that will not be copied to the duplicated risks or issues. After clicking Duplicate, a toaster notification will appear, stating The selected items have been duplicated. The duplicated risks and issues will be prefixed with Copy of in their titles.
-
Upon clicking Close, a confirmation popup will appear, giving the user the option to either Cancel or Close. Upon confirming Close, a toaster notification will display: The selected items have been closed.
- To delete risks and issues, users must either be the owner of the risk or issue or have the appropriate parent permissions (e.g., being a member of the project). If a user lacks the required permissions, the Delete button will be disabled, and an informational icon will display the message: You do not have the relevant permissions to delete all selected items.
-
When clicking Delete, a confirmation popup will appear, giving the user the option to either Cancel or Delete. Upon confirming Delete, a toaster notification will display: The selected items have been deleted.
