Home Screen
The Home Screen is your personalised dashboard within the 9ine Platform. It provides a centralised view of the information, insights, and actions that matter most to you. By configuring your Home Screen, you can tailor what you see at login, giving you an organised, relevant snapshot of your organisation’s activities across all areas of the Platform. Rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all experience, the Home Screen empowers users to create their own dashboard. Whether you manage compliance, support digital strategy, review risks, or oversee operational workflows, your Home Screen can be designed to surface the tools and metrics most aligned to your role.
On your Home Screen you will find:
- A carousel of Product Cards highlighting features and updates across the Platform;
- A News and Featured Webinars feed of curated updates and learning;
- The Progress & Quick Add panel, showing outstanding work across the modules you can access;
- Your personalised dashboard of cards, which you arrange yourself;
- The Edit Home and Refresh icons in the top right corner.
Getting-started videos, Product Tours, the Business Updates page, Request Support and Provide Feedback are also reachable from the Home Screen if you want to learn more or get help.
Understanding how to customise your home screen
To begin customising your Home Screen, navigate to the Home Screen and click the Edit Home icon located in the top right corner. Entering edit mode unlocks configuration options and enables you to build a layout tailored to your needs. You can select cards from across the 9ine Platform including Governance, Incident, Privacy, Contract, and Vendor Management.

Once in edit mode, decide how your dashboard cards should be displayed. You can:
- Display cards upfront by selecting No Accordion (recommended for high-priority cards)
- Group cards in an accordion (ideal for longer dashboards or secondary insights)
- You can create up to 9 accordions and add up to 12 cards in each accordion.
Dashboard cards are grouped by content type. To add cards begin by selecting a Type from the left-hand panel. Once selected, the associated card options will appear on the right. Selecting a type filters the available cards, ensuring you only see relevant options for that category.
Tick the cards you want to include on your Home Screen. Cards can be mixed and matched across areas of the 9ine Platform, giving you a dashboard tailored to your responsibilities. As cards are selected, a preview will appear beneath the configuration controls. This allows you to:
- Review how cards appear as a group
- Verify the order and spacing
- Visualise how information flows on your Home Screen
Adjust your selections until you’re satisfied with the layout. When your configuration is complete click Save to publish your chosen layout. You can return to edit mode at any time to adjust your dashboard as your role, preferences, or operational priorities evolve. Use the Refresh icon in the top right corner to update the Home Screen with the latest information. Hover over the icon to view the date and time the Home Screen was last refreshed.
Track Progress and Take Action
The Progress & Quick Add card gives you a clear overview of activity across your modules. Each shows what has been completed on time and what is overdue. For Incident Management, the card shows the number of Open and Closed incidents. The counts include items where you are the owner, member, reviewer or approver. Items with a Closed status are not included in these totals.
You can create new items directly from the card, reducing navigation and saving time. If an item is overdue, it will be highlighted in red to prompt action. Only the modules you have permission to access will be displayed. Any restricted modules will remain hidden from view. If you do not have access to a module, or if the module licence has expired or its allowance has been exceeded, the Add (+) button is replaced with an information icon. Hover over the icon to view guidance, and contact [email protected] if further assistance is required.
